The artwork is a stylized abstract painting of an elephant. Elephant is an animal iconic to the South East Asian countries, especially India. The largest land animal, elephants are a common sight in India, particularly in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The bright colors used in the painting portray the way in which the ceremonial elephants are dressed up in vibrant costumes during festivities. The artwork is titles, "Yanai", which is the word for elephant in Tamil language.
