This abstract painting is based on the story in the Old Testament when Abraham after listening to God is about to sacrifice his son Isaac on the mountain of Moriah which is in Jerusalem. However as he lifts the knife to sacrifice Isaac, a voice from the heaven tells him to stop. Later he finds a ram caught in a bush nearby.
